The Marine Blue Geneva is the one that makes people stop mid-conversation and ask where it came from.
The exterior is a deep, clean navy ? smooth leather with the kind of saturated tone that reads differently depending on the light, closer to ink in shadow, closer to cobalt in the sun ? fitted with the same top carry handle, lower grip, and brass clasp that define the Geneva silhouette. Open it and the contrast is immediate and arresting: a playing field veneered in honey burl, pale and luminous, with points cut from a richer, darker burl in warm walnut tones. The effect is the inversion of what the eye expects ? the darkest exterior in the Geneva collection opening to the lightest, warmest interior, like a lacquered navy box lined in tortoiseshell. Every grain pattern on the veneer is unique; the board is, in the most literal sense, one of a kind. The flat-disc checkers in near-black and ivory complete the composition with the straightforward confidence of a piece that already knows it's the most interesting thing in the room.
